Deriving inspiration from my late 90s girlhood: playing with Barbies, buying headbands at Limited Too, and filling up your mp3player with as many Avril Lavigne songs possible was the most fun you could have.
Taking that energy and bringing it to my work as a trans, queer adult turns out, is as close to that fun as I can make happen.
